Justice League: Are Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. set to part ways?

Justice League DC

Well if all the rumours out of Warner Bros are true the DCEU film schedule is in crisis. Stories are circulating that Zack Snyder and Warner Bros are at odds over the direction of the Justice League and the DC Expanded Universe films.

It is believed that the generally negative response from the DC fan base to Batman v Superman is responsible for a growing “creative differences” between DC CCO Geoff Johns and Snyder over Justice League.

Moving on Synder would surely mean a change in schedule for the packed DC film slate, especially considering Justice League: Part One started shooting just weeks after the release of BvS.

According to Births.Movies.Death there are “lots of fights between Snyder and the WB execs, and lots of pressure from Burbank on Snyder, who is shooting in London.”

Would WB be willing to move on Synder considering how deeply entwined he is creatively with the upcoming DCEU projects? Well if they were going to move it would be now.

You could expect that Warner Bros will follow the same tact as it did with the Flash – keeping its former director’s script, leaving Snyder’s master plans in place even if he isn’t in charge.

Only time will if the rumours are true and DC fans will be hoping the DCEU films they have been patiently waiting for reach the heights they deserve.
